Diana Jacob

Diana focuses her work on advancing equitable health policies across federal health initiatives, with a particular emphasis on drug pricing, maternal health, mental health, and health system reform. She has supported policy analysis and legislative strategy related to federal reimbursement programs, healthcare delivery systems, and public health innovation. Her experience includes analyzing Congressional legislation, tracking federal agency actions, and translating complex policy developments into accessible insights for stakeholders and the public.

She has contributed to policy efforts across sectors, including work in two House offices where she conducted legislative research, drafted memos, engaged in constituent correspondence, and supported policy development in areas such as maternal mortality, cancer care, and nutrition policy. At another major lobbying law firm, Diana assisted clients by monitoring federal and state health policy trends, including 340B drug pricing initiatives and regulatory developments impacting pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations. Her work also extends to community health, having supported sexual health and trauma-informed care initiatives at Atlantic Health System.

At Federal Health Policy Strategies (FHP Strategies), Diana performs a variety of research and analytical services. She monitors and analyzes the latest policy developments and the evolution of health care across Capitol Hill, federal agencies, and the states. In addition, Diana tracks influential health policy stakeholders, including the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, the Medicaid & CHIP Payment & Access Commission, the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee, and congressional committees with jurisdiction over the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Lastly, Diana assists in the development of Health Care Watch, a digestible newsletter covering the latest news from Capitol Hill, federal agencies, and the states.

Diana has a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Health Promotion from The Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University and holds a B.S. in Biology from The College of New Jersey.
